Here are the classes we have to offer this year:
Beginning Marching Band Class
We are offering Beginning Marching & Beginning Drum Major Classes. Students need 1 year of playing experience. Beginning Drum Major students can come in with no experience.
Our opening day is July 7th and our first class is starting on Tuesday July 8th. Classes will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30pm – 6:30pm. The first hour will be dedicated to learning the Parade March and the second hour will be dedicated to learning the Field Show.
In the 2025 – 2026 School Year we have 2 Christmas Parades, 2 Field Show Family Performances, and we will start off the 2026 – 2027 School Year at the Ontario 4th of July Parade!
We will start competing in SCSBOA Band Review and Field Tournament Competitions in the Fall of 2026. We will be competing at the Placentia Band Review and Field Tournament, Loara Band Review and Field Tournament, Mt. Carmel Band Review and Field Tournament, and the Martin Luther King Band Review and Field Tournament. We will compete in a few Band Reviews after those in December of 2026 and the Spring of 2027.

We are offering Beginning Color Guard Classes. Beginning Color Guard Students can come in with no experience.

We are offering Beginning Woodwinds, Beginning Brass, and Beginning Percussion & Strings classes. These are for students with no experience at all.
Our opening day is Monday July 7th and our first class is starting on Saturday July 12th. Classes will be every Saturday. Beginning Woodwinds will be 4:00pm – 5:00pm. Beginning Brass will be 5:00pm – 6:00pm. Beginning Percussion will be 6:00pm – 7:00pm.
Once you sign up for your primary class (Woodwind, Percussion, or Brass), you have access to all three classes! You can learn a secondary and third instrument on the side while learning your primary! We will have a progress performance on the 1st and 3rd quarter, a Semester Christmas Performance (2nd quarter), and a Finals Night at the Movies Concert (4th quarter).
